Welcome to WITCHERY's Public Book of Shadows. These pages are meant to educate the Neophyte as well as the General Public as to the practices, rituals and philosphies of the religion of Wica, a peaceful Earth based spirituality.

These pages are by no means complete, nor do they represent any one form of Wicca / Wica / Witchcrafte. We will add pages as time goes on, please bear with us as we expand this library. Feel free to email us with passages that you feel others should read.

Wica / Witchcrafte is an occult religion, occult meaning hidden. In that it has been hidden, for almost seven centuries, from those not of its membership, many misconceptions and falsehoods have been spread by the Christian Church and those seeking to expolit the curious.

Though we do not seek to intentionally anger anyone, what is shown here is meant to educate people to the beauty of our religion. If what you find here offends you, then don't read it. There are some parts of our religion that will always remain occulted, but it is our hope that by giving people a real and sincere "peek" behind the curtain of mystery that surrounds our way of life, we will achieve greater acceptance by the domainant cultures.

We do not seek to convert anyone, only to educate others so that we may help end a period of hate, prejuice and misunderstanding that spans seven centuries. Remember in the words of Marion Zimmer Bradley,

"Leave to others their otherness."
